Duties of the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach: Coaching duties are assigned by the head women’s basketball coach, but may include assisting with recruitment, practices, games, scheduling, compliance, and/or advisement and supervision of student-athletes.  Attend special meetings called by the coach, athletic director, vice president of the college, or the president.  Must be capable of effectively motivating and supervising students.  Must maintain a professional relationship with students and peers.  Other duties as assigned by the head women’s coach, athletic director, or other appropriate supervisory personal.  

Duties of the Student Services Assistant:  SS Assistant duties are assigned by the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management.  Assists the Associate Dean with activities and initiatives in Admissions and Student Success, including recruitment, communication, tours, events and front-line customer service.

The preceding duties have been provided as examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification.  Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments as needed.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree preferred.  

Experience:  Collegiate playing experience and/or collegiate coaching experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet college’s insurance requirements for driving college vehicles required.

Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, train, and develop students and athletes and be able to demonstrate student centeredness.
